DBT Skills Workshop (Virtual): Manage Big Feelings + Healthy Conflict

What is DBT?

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based approach that teaches practical, skills-focused strategies to help people manage intense emotions, cope with distress in healthier ways, and communicate more effectively in relationships.

DBT focuses on what you can do in the moment especially when you’re overwhelmed, triggered, or stuck in patterns like shutting down, avoiding conflict, or reacting impulsively.

DBT skills often include mindfulness (staying grounded and present), emotion regulation (reducing emotional intensity), distress tolerance (getting through hard moments without making things worse), and interpersonal effectiveness (setting boundaries, asking for what you need, and navigating conflict with more clarity and respect).
